Recap from the Soon Hock Group Site Visit
As part of an SGListCos and SGX Group initiative, an invite-only group of KOLs, remisiers, analysts, investors and media representatives attended a corporate site visit to Soon Hock Group on 23 October 2026 at its corporate headquarters in Jalan Papan.
The session commenced with opening remarks by Soon Hock Group's CEO, Walter Tan, sharing the Group’s journey from its beginnings in logistics and operations to its expansion into property development. This operational foundation continues to shape the Group’s understanding of how businesses use and interact with industrial spaces.
A core focus of the visit was understanding how Soon Hock Group draws on its operational experience to inform its property development strategy. By prioritising end-users’ needs, the Group aims to develop properties that create long-term value, helping businesses optimise operations and improve efficiency. This end-user-focused approach is a key differentiator for the Group, while its sector-agnostic strategy enables it to cater to businesses across a range of industries, broadening its market reach and strengthening its competitive positioning.
Veron Heng, CFO at Soon Hock Group, provided an overview of the Group’s financials, highlighting property development as its main revenue contributor. Participants also gained insights into the Group’s investment proposition, which is underpinned by its Singapore-focused strategy and specialisation in industrial properties.
Looking ahead, Christine Loo outlined the Group’s plans for further expansion in Singapore, supported by newly acquired land and a pipeline of upcoming developments, including Skye @ Tuas, a major B2 industrial development. The presentation also highlighted a positive outlook for the local industrial property market, supported by continued demand for industrial space.
Participants also toured Soon Hock Group’s headquarters and dormitory, gaining first-hand insights into its facilities and day-to-day operations. The tour offered a closer look at how the Group’s operational expertise translates into its property development approach.
The visit is one of several initiatives by SGListCos and SGX Group to promote direct engagement between Singapore-listed companies and market professionals. More corporate site visits are planned as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen connections and deepen understanding across the capital markets community. Stay tuned!
