SGX Lunar New Year Lunch

Today, SGX Group hosted a Lunar New Year Lunch, bringing together Next50 and SMID Caps, SGX senior management and market participants to usher in the Year of the Horse!

The lunch was opened by Pol de Win, who reflected on the symbolism of the Fire Horse - representing speed, vitality and energy - while expressing hopes for steady and sustainable growth across the market.

This was followed by a Lo Hei and a presentation on the Value Unlock Programme, outlining its objectives and progress as lunch was served. The discussion reinforced Value Unlock as a whole-of-market movement to encourage decision-makers to place greater focus on shareholder value in the boardroom - strengthening governance, sharpening equity narratives and supporting long-term capital formation for Singapore-listed companies.

Regina Choo and Jeremy Sing from the Value Unlock team at SGX Group highlighted why value unlocking matters: attracting investor interest, improving valuations and supporting more resilient market outcomes, particularly for Next50 and SMID-cap companies.
