🌿𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗿𝗮𝗽-𝘂𝗽: SGListCos 𝘅 ASUENE Inc. 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿!🌍

On 24 April, SGListCos had the pleasure of co-hosting an engaging and thought-provoking event with ASUENE Inc., focused on how listed companies can move beyond ESG compliance to drive meaningful, measurable change.

The morning began with a compelling opening speech by Guest of Honour, Rajeev Peshawaria, CEO of Stewardship Asia Centre, who challenged attendees to think beyond conventional frameworks: “𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘮𝘦 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦. 𝘚𝘰𝘭𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺’𝘴 𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴 - 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦, 𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘺𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘬 𝘳𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘵. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱: 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘺 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥, 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘹𝘪𝘮𝘶𝘮 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘹𝘪𝘮𝘶𝘮 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘪𝘵”.  His message set the stage for a day of honest conversations and forward-looking ideas. This was followed by a keynote speech by Masaaki Hamada, Managing Director from ASUENE Inc., and a product demonstration of ASUENE Inc.’s platform that enables companies to track emissions and streamline disclosures.

The panel discussion brought together a powerful lineup of voices, including Alvin Piadasa Group Sustainability Director – SK tes, Ching Hu, Head of Net Zero Transition Programme Office – Singapore Business Federation, Jonathan Jong, Group Chief Sustainability & Risk Officer – ComfortDelGro and Sang Lye See, Executive Director, IBG Sustainability - DBS Bank, moderated by Shu Setogawa, Manager, Sales and Business Development from ASUENE Inc.. Together, the panel tackled key issues such as integrating ESG into core strategy, bridging the gap between reporting and real impact, and creating business value through sustainability.

As Jonathan Jong aptly stated, “𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘴𝘵.” And from Shu Setogawa, a timely reminder that, “𝘝𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 - 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺.”
